This comprehensive course offers a thorough understanding of the regulatory aspects of alternative investments, focusing on the roles of regulatory bodies and reporting obligations. It covers securities, issuers, registrations, and laws relevant to accredited investors. The importance of due diligence, anti-money laundering regulations, and investor protection are also explained. In this course you will analyze the application of private equity, hedge fund, real estate, and private debt assets for consumers with varying sophistication and net worth. The course also provides insights into land and non-land alternatives, and discusses best practices for derivatives, credit, equity, real estate, and commodities. It concludes with exploring private issues, working with private equity and accredited investors, and developing a real estate investment trust.
